Movies in bed. Movies when we want. BBC documentaries. No commercials. Less than ten bucks a month. What’s not to like about Netflix?

A special pleasure of Netflix is the unlimited live streaming that comes with our budget-conscious plan.  A little escapism in the 1950’s TV show, Alfred Hitchcock Presents (seasons 1, 2 and 3).  Film Noir classics. A return to Hollywood’s golden age whenever we want.  With our busy schedules, we no longer have to deal with scratched discs from the video rental store ruining our couch potato plans.

David Attenborough

Some of our favorites, which we prefer on disc instead of streaming, because the quality is better, are the BBC nature documentaries of David Attenborough. Blue Planet, The Life of Mammals, The Life of Birds, and others are all beautifully filmed, thoughtfully narrated, and offer an amazing display of the beauty, drama and amazing adaptations of creatures around the world.
